How coverage works in Colorado

Colorado runs its own marketplace, Connect for Health Colorado, instead of HealthCare.gov. Public plans there are based on your income and are designed for major pre-existing conditions and people who qualify for government assistance. Private plans are based on your health, are underwritten, and often open up nationwide PPO networks. The first question is always which side fits you. Insurance in Colorado is overseen by the Colorado Division of Insurance. We are licensed there, and we check your doctors against any plan before you enroll.
